Shekhinah Tours was great. Our guide, Stan, was the best! He picked us up at our lodging and took us up to 1000 Steps for a snorkel trip. He was very knowledgeable about the island and educated us all the way there. Once in the water Stan was great at finding and pointing out all varieties of fish and other sea life. My partner and I enjoyed a private tour with Ephraim. He is prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about Bonaire Island! Ephraim picked us up right on time from our AirBnb, and we visited all the locations promised in the tour description. Highlights include 1,000 steps (which we re-visited on our own a few days later!), a panoramic view of Goto Lake with flamingos in the distance, Rincon, and the Cadushy Distillery with private tasting. We even had an up-close-and-personal encounter with a donkey! With Ephraim's informative commentary, we learned so much about Bonaire's rich history and diverse culture and geography. As a first time visitor to Bonaire, we wanted to get a good feel for the island. This tour did it! We were in a small group as promised (4 total). We saw the salt flats, the slave camp, the beaches, 1,000 steps, flamingoes, donkeys, goats, cacti distillery and more. Our guide was Michelle and she was friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing tour with our guide. We went to 3 different caves (the first 2 dry) with the third one being a cave where you get in a swim/snorkel. Our guide catered the day towards what we wanted as the group was small (only 4 of us total) which was perfect. There is a physical component to the tour as your are crawling through caves but at no point did we have any concerns about going through any spots that were too small or tight.
The best part for us, because we love adventure, was getting to follow our guide and dive through an underwater tunnel using dive flashlights into a different cavern where we felt like James Bond. Overall a fantastic experience! Kyle M USA
